In July of 2008, God blessed 6th & Jackson church by bringing us Doug Martin to lead our Youth Ministry. Doug has a passion to lead students to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
Doug has a Music Education degree from the University of Oklahoma. Doug and his wife, Sarah, have three children, Lainey, Evangeline and Kenley.
Penney Nichols is the pulpit minister here at 6th & Jackson. Penney and his wife, Ann, moved to Odessa from Phoenix, Arizona in December of 2008.
Penney has a B.S. in Education, cum laude, from Abilene Christian University. He has 30 hours in New Testament graduate studies from ACU. He has a M.A. in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Universtiy.
Penney and Ann have two grown daughters,
Edette and Deana.
